Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of RokData (“Service”) operated at rokdata.co.uk. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
RokData provides tools for social publishing and connections, SEO audits, security scanning of verified properties, analytics (“Deep Metrics”), and related workspace features. Features may change, be limited by plan, or depend on third-party APIs (Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest, Google, Stripe, AI providers, and others).
2. Accounts and organisations
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and workspace members you invite.
- Platform administrators may suspend accounts that abuse the Service, violate these Terms, or create security risk.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity.
- Scan, probe, or attack domains you do not own or are not authorised to test.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, authentication, or security controls.
- Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights.
- Resell or misuse API credentials, OAuth tokens, or rate limits belonging to connected networks.
- Violate third-party platform terms (including Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) when connecting or publishing.
4. Your content and connected accounts
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service (including publishing to networks you connect and running jobs/cron workers).
You represent that you have authority to connect pages/accounts and to publish content on behalf of those assets. Disconnecting a network stops new API use of that connection; previously published posts remain on the third-party platform.
5. Plans, billing, and trials
Paid plans, quotas, and prices are shown in the product (and may be billed via Stripe). Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plans with notice for renewals. Failure to pay may result in feature limits or suspension.
6. Security scans and SEO audits
Security and SEO features perform automated checks against properties you add and verify. Results are informational and not a guarantee of safety, compliance, or ranking. You must only target assets you are authorised to assess.
7. AI features
Optional AI tools (for example captions or replies) may send prompts to third-party model providers. Outputs can be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing content before publishing.
8. Availability and support
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Shared hosting, third-party APIs, and cron scheduling can affect delivery. Scheduled posts depend on valid tokens, network availability, and cron execution.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, and software are owned by RokData or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or create competing services from our non-public code or materials except as allowed by law.
10. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RokData is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the claim (or £50 if greater and no fees were paid), except where liability cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify RokData against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, your connected accounts, or your breach of these Terms or third-party platform rules.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, non-payment, legal risk, or prolonged inactivity. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimer, liability, indemnity) survive termination.
14. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may have mandatory local rights.
